Meta’s People Core Team is responsible for building integrated, scalable, and robust enterprise applications and integrations. We are seeking an experienced MuleSoft Integrations Specialist. As a MuleSoft expert, you will play a key role in establishing best MuleSoft design and implementation practices to deliver scalable integration solutions handling large volumes of data. You will provide leadership to architect and build the foundation for API/Microservice-led development strategy.
Application Engineer, MuleSoft Responsibilities
  • Establish best design and implementation practices to deliver scalable integration solutions handling large volumes of data leveraging Mule 4+ technology.
  • Build integration strategy based on principles of reusability, security, scalability, and quality leveraging MuleSoft Platform.
  • Build, deploy, monitor, and tune MuleSoft artifacts on Cloud Hub, set-up Anypoint VPC’s and Dedicated Load Balancers.
  • Work with cross-functional teams and document detailed MuleSoft Process flows.
  • Establish best-in-class MuleSoft Application Packaging and Deployment Strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, business partners and collaborate well within a team environment to drive results.
  • Embrace modern technologies and work with various tools and technologies to achieve desired functionality.
  • Build interfaces for complex systems and high-quality tools.
  • Technical ownership of projects and managing resources.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree and MuleSoft Certified Professional/Architect
  • 3+ years MuleSoft experience in transforming complex strategic business requirements into workable technology solutions
  • 5+ years of API and web services development experience
  • 5+ years of experience in the enterprise application domain
  • Knowledge and hands-on working experience on Mule 4+ Integration
  • Experience measuring planned integrations and estimating expected vCore requirements and SLA given QPS, data volume, design, etc.
  • Implement SOA design principles and best practices
  • Development experience using Anypoint Studio, Connectors, Message Queue, OAuth, Scopes, Routers, Flows and Error Handling, Mule batch jobs, dataweave, multi-threaded processes using Mule batch jobs, flow processing strategies etc.
  • Integration specialist with experience working with multiple Mule connectors such as Salesforce, Workday, Data Warehouse, HTTP Listener/Requestor, Database, File, SFTP, etc.
  • Understanding of MuleSoft Enterprise Security and other security features (such as policies, roles, etc.)
  • Knowledge of data structure and data management practices (maps, caches, ETL)
  • Extensive experience in API-led development and experience building foundations across systems as Pub-Sub model, create readily usable APIs to be used across inside the organization
  • Exposure and knowledge of end-to-end DevOps and MuleSoft scopes, core Java with collections and CI/CD processes using tools such as Maven, GIT, Jenkins, and CloudHub
  • MuleSoft Application Packaging and Deployment Strategies experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • B.S. in Computer Science
  • MuleSoft Certified Professional/Architect
  • Proven record of accomplishment of effectively interacting with internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced environment with interest in stakeholders and users
