The Advertising Ecosystem team seeks an individual who is passionate about helping Meta collaborate globally with the ad industry and other stakeholders on solutions and standards that address critical issues such as privacy, safety and integrity, and measurement. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing highly complex projects and partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to develop and execute plans across technology, business, and policy-oriented projects. Relevant experience with project management, product management, ads measurement, customer/consumer data, and the ad technology and privacy/policy landscape are important for this role. The ideal candidate thinks creatively about everything but also delivers high-impact results on complex programs or projects through exceptional executional skills. The candidate is dedicated to driving clear plans and communications, and to ensuring efficient and effective processes, always working in close partnership with cross-functional stakeholders.
Director, Advertising Ecosystem Programs Responsibilities
  • Contribute to prioritizing industry collaboration plans and related commitments.
  • Oversee selected projects with external organizations/partners.
  • Ensure consistent and successful execution internally towards agreed priorities.
  • Support communication internally and externally to help the team, Meta, and the industry - achieve goals for the ecosystem.
  • Develop frameworks to guide strategies, decisions, and plans for our industry solutions/standards-focused engagements, working closely with Ads Ecosystem Product Marketing and Research teams.
  • Engage internally and externally to support execution of collaborative industry projects and resulting internal commitments, fostering effective relationships, processes, communications, schedules, and resourcing, and identifying and resolving issues that prevent progress.
  • Design and maintain tools and systems to organize, coordinate, and track the team’s engagements and progress with internal and external stakeholders, including dependencies, risks, and mitigation approaches.
  • Support development of messages, documents, and presentations for internal and external audiences.
  • Drive company-wide touch-points and leadership processes, including communications such as posts about industry trends and our team’s progress, email updates, Q&A sessions, all-hands, and cross-team meetings.
  • Manage a small team to achieve agreed goals across all areas of responsibility.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 12+ years of work experience, including 5+ years experience in product marketing, program/project management, and/or consulting, and 5+ years experience in the internet/advertising sector and experience contributing at both strategic and operational levels
  • Demonstrated analytical, data-driven decision-making experience
  • Experience managing multiple projects with clear timelines amid shifting priorities, across medium to large organizations
  • Communicator, with experience simplifying concepts
  • Track record of operating independently, demonstrating creativity, being detail-oriented, and delivering results in a highly organized manner
  • Experience as a people manager in a larger-company environment
  • Proficiency with Google Apps, Microsoft Office tools, and related project/program management applications to drive best practices
  • BA/BS degree
Preferred Qualifications
  • Relevant business and/or technology Master’s degree
