The Business Support Platform Team is building a platform to provide end-to-end care for all the businesses on Facebook. We are going to start with building a universal surface across all business product interfaces that provides self-serve and in-product support experience in a scalable way. Together with it, we are also going to build ML models that help us have better understanding of the advertisers’ issues and recommend the right solution to them. We are also going to build an infra that can plug in the context and domain expertise from each product team to make our Support product into a platform.
Software Engineering Manager Responsibilities
  • Be both a highly technical, hands-on coder and effective people manager.
  • Effectively scale the team by attracting and mentoring extraordinary people at various levels of experience to grow a well-balanced, high performing team.
  • Empower and demonstrate the open Facebook engineering culture.
  • Successfully work in a cross-functional partnership with other leaders across Facebook.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in leading software engineering teams
  • Experience in recruiting engineering talent and building out high-performing teams.
  • Experience in translating technical concepts into language for audiences, including software engineers, business and technical leaders.
  • BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or equivalent.
