Technical Audit Operations (TAPS): Privacy Program Manager - Compliance
The Technical Audit Operations (TAPS) team reviews and verifies evidence of privacy mitigations as part of Meta’s privacy by design process (Privacy Review). This team acts as a second line of defense through oversight of evidence submissions and auditing automated verification processes for accuracy and consistency. We are looking for an individual with proven experience in privacy, compliance and/or audit functions and a product / data-driven mindset to help oversee our relationship with our internal/external auditing/assessor functions. You share our passion for tackling privacy complexities head-on, to help design and build continuous operational compliance practices that mitigate risk and represent our users and their privacy at the forefront of everything that we do. In this role, you will interact with product, business, legal and engineering teams to develop deep insights and drive improvements into the mechanics of how TAPS incorporates compliance into and continuously improves the efficiency of our operations.
Technical Audit Operations (TAPS): Privacy Program Manager - Compliance Responsibilities
  • Synthesize various requirements and priorities into a unified actionable roadmap for company-wide privacy testing and auditing milestones and drive the execution across multiple cross-functional teams.
  • Create clear, concise business and technical requirements to enable automation of privacy controls and compliance obligations.
  • Develop long-term objectives of how tol evolve our testing and auditing functions while delivering on immediate priorities.
  • Provide guidance and oversight to product, business and engineering teams on complying with the Privacy Program and its day-to-day objectives.
  • Become a trusted partner working cross-functionally with stakeholders building a deep understanding of how their teams work, their needs and how privacy can be operationalized into their teams.
  • Evaluate, evolve and create program controls and protocols working with legal and privacy product teams.
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, and ensure user privacy is not compromised.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 6+ years of work experience in compliance, auditing, consulting, technical program management or other related disciplines
  • 4+ years technical program management experience in a corporate environment
  • Experience working with privacy data protection legislation and/or regulations in an internal/external auditing capacity
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in training, program management or a similar discipline
  • Proven track record of delivering ambitious product, and/or organizational or process changes in a compliance/privacy field

$129,000/year to $189,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual pay is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
