We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Category Launch Manager to join our consumer electronics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and aligning the distribution strategy for our upcoming portfolio of products in the AR category. The job will also require the candidate to partner cross functionally with PMM, PM and Sales functions to ensure launch moment readiness, kicking off sales motion and supporting long lead partner sell-in. To be successful, the candidate will bring a combination of strategic vision, communication skills, collaborative mindset, and product launch experience; having worked in highly cross-functional, dynamic environments built to move fast.
Category Launch Manager Responsibilities
  • Define and align on the sales distribution strategy by analyzing existing portfolio performance, monitoring competitive activity, analyzing market trends and identifying opportunities for differentiation for the upcoming product
  • Conduct path to purchase analysis by understanding customer behavior, identifying key touchpoints, and optimizing the customer journey
  • Ensure launch moment readiness by preparing sales teams, developing and executing launch plans, and ensuring all necessary resources are in place
  • Align and define Lifetime Goals of the product and its supporting budget to drive towards goals
  • Develop and execute customer feedback management and prioritization strategies to ensure customer needs are met and feedback is incorporated into product development.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in launching products in the capacity of a Product manager or Product marketing manager or Sales/Category management in the consumer electronics industry
  • Experienced managing launch moments with analytical background for Consumer electronic devices or CPG
  • Experience with consumer research and proficiently using data and insights to inform product, Go To Market and Go to Channel strategy
  • Experience in communicating, presenting to influence and persuade stakeholders.
  • Experience in conducting path to purchase, sales competitive analysis and identifying opportunities for differentiation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters Degree in Business, Marketing or related field
  • Overall 8+ years of professional experience in consumer electronics with a demonstrated interest in new and emerging tech
  • Experience in augmented reality, virtual reality, mixed reality, wearable devices, mobile devices or 0 to1 product types

$122,000/year to $176,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual pay is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable. In addition to base salary, Meta offers benefits.
