As an Engineering Manager at Novi Risk Core group, you will help your team to develop some of our flagship financial services, and to innovate the next generation of Risk Management, Fraud Prevention and Transaction Monitoring Systems. You will collaborate with highly diverse teams of Product Managers, Data Scientists and ML Experts to create intuitive experiences that enhance people’s lives.
Engineering Manager, Novi Risk Core Responsibilities
  • Build and lead teams designing and Implementing a unique, state-of-art, analytics frameworks and big data solutions to support fraud-detection and compliance algorithms.
  • Leverage the latest cutting edge features engineering, machine learning, and big data technologies. Deliver to production systems which are high performant, near real-time, scalable, resilient, and processed on a large scale.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams of product managers, engineers, data scientists and researchers.
  • Support cutting edge research and development of POCs for future Novi experiences.
  • Set direction in how Novi develops future Risk and Compliance capabilities.
  • Facilitate culture and processes for high standards of engineering excellence and code quality.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 10+ years experience working on software frameworks in a large-scale code base.
  • 7+ years experience managing and growing software engineers.
  • Experience working on Microservices, Async programming, and Cloud technologies.
  • Experience with Software Development processes including: source control, bug tracking, and design documentation.
  • Demonstrated experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • Experience developing, debugging, and shipping one or more products on large code bases that span a range of platforms and tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Big Data technologies
  • Experience with Features Engineering and Analytics Frameworks
  • Experience in SW engineering management roles in Fraud Prevention or Financial Risk
