Are you ready to join a dynamic team within Cross-Meta Integrity (XI) that is dedicated to building and scaling the platform that drives integrity experiences for people, businesses and communities around the world? Within XI, we build the products and UI people and businesses use to protect the community, advertisers, and their voice. We build these experiences at scale across problems and surfaces, to ensure Meta’s approach to integrity is legitimate in the eyes of people, businesses and stakeholders. We also aim to increase voice and economic opportunities and to prevent harm. The role of the Experiences Platform Runtime team is to ensure efficiency and explainability by building common infrastructure to handle experience execution throughout the integrity funnel. The team is responsible for critical infrastructure, including unified logging, data management and core platform infra. Your role as an Engineering Manager will be to support the team and together you will work towards transforming our Experiences platform by scaling to solve broader problems in a platformic way, continuously improve the underlying reliability of the platform, and improve the efficiency for engineers across Integrity by lowering the barrier to entry for engineers from across Meta to use it. Additionally you'll have the opportunity to support the team as we build new capabilities that help to explain and debug end to end experience interactions and introduce new experimentation capabilities.
XI Experiences Platform Engineering Manager Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of 8 engineers to scale our platform capabilities and increase their impact.
  • Provide guidance, support, and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team.
  • Work with your team and XFN partners to define and influence strategy
  • Work effectively with XFN partners and stakeholders to set and achieve optimal outcomes
  • Drive roadmap creation and execution
  • Partner with leadership to influence and drive org design, contribution and prioritisation
  • Measure the impact of your team and set clear expectations and goals
  • Collaborate with various functions, drive engineering initiatives and have an impact at an organisational level Participate in technical design
Minimum Qualifications
  • Proven track record of supporting technical teams
  • Experience supporting infrastructure engineering teams
  • Strong problem solving skills and background in coding
  • Demonstrated ability to manage technical teams
  • Knowledge of growing teams and/or organisations
Preferred Qualifications
  • BS / MS in Computer Science (In lieu of degree, relevant work experience)
