Technical IDC Program Manager Responsibilities
  • Responsible for cross-functional site infrastructure projects in a matrix organization covering a range of areas (data center, network, hardware systems, capacity management).
  • Develop and manage end-to-end project plans and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Provide hands-on program management during analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation phases.
  • Perform risk management and change management on projects.
  • Provide day-to-day coordination and quality assurance for projects and tasks.
  • Drive internal process improvements across multiple teams and functions.
  • Interface with Engineering, Facilities, Electrical/Mechanical Engineers, and business owners for project requirements and scope.
  • Work on projects that will support the Infrastructure Engineering organization, whose responsibilities include Networking, Data Center Design, Construction, and 24x7 upkeep of the Facebook website and other Meta products.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Requires a Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Networking, Network Engineering, Telecommunications, Telecommunications Networks, Electronics Engineering, Communication Engineering, or related field and 5 years of work experience in the job offered or in a technical-related occupation. Requires 60 months of experience in the following:
  • 1. Deployment of Large-scale Network Infrastructure
  • 2. Data Center Networking including Backbone, LAN and Cloud networking
  • 3. Network Architecture
  • 4. Design, development, and testing of Network reliability and scalability implementation
  • 5. Program Management Skills
  • 6. Delivering Data Center Tech programs or products from inception to delivery
  • 7. Managing cross-functional dependencies, risks, and changes effectively by optimizing scope, schedule, and resources accordingly
  • 8. Developing and owning communication plans to effectively and proactively communicate program status, issues, and risks to stakeholders
  • 9. Working with product teams to build and deliver end-to-end customer focused products with technical knowledge of the underlying platforms and technologies
  • 10. At least one Certification from: PMP, ITIL, PGMP, or Six Sigma
  • 11. At least one Certification from: CISA, CISSP, or CCNA

$244,603/year to $252,230/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual pay is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable. In addition to base salary, Meta offers benefits.
